CORK ARTS DISTRICT EVENT RENTAL INFORMATION

Robert Classroom.jpg

The CoRKshop is a multi-use inviting space with an open design and welcoming environment that encourages conversation and discussion. The room is a flexible and functional space that gives workshops, classes, meetings, talks, podcasts, and/or collaborative projects a place to become reality. The CoRKshop can quickly transform from a large open space for a filming/photo shoot or casting call location to an artist’s studio or event space—and most anything in between! Priority is given to CoRK programming/residents followed by other arts-related rentals.

SIZE + AMENITIES: 1,100 sq. ft. with outdoor access, kitchenette with utility sink (cold water only), counter space, storage cabinets, mini-fridge, french press/kettle, and microwave. A limited number of folding tables and chairs are available to rent for a small fee. Wi-fi available.

IDEAL FOR: meetings, classes/workshops, lectures, podcasts, photo shoots, digital work space, pop up shows, special projects or a small catered party/social event.

Please be advised CoRK is an arts venue that houses private studios of over 65 workings artists, not a traditional event rental space, which may result in limitations. We do not rent space for weddings, political events or religious services. No artwork will be removed, covered or reconfigured to accommodate rental unless agreed upon in rental contract.

CLEANING: Cleaning is the responsibility of the renter if a cleaning fee is not
included. A portion of the security deposit may be kept in the event the
space is not properly cleaned

Capacity is currently limited due to COVID-19. Any visitors must wear masks and observe social distancing/sanitary guidelines.

The exhibition spaces in our shared galleries focus primarily on contemporary art to promote and provide exposure for our residents and visiting artists. We have also held outdoor performances in our CoRKyard. Those spaces are available for meetings, talks and events, but are not available for outside exhibition rentals. Artists interested in exhibition should apply for use of our CoRKshop multi-use space or during one of our ‘call to artist’ shows.
