Jaron Wallace is a filmmaker from Jacksonville, Florida, whose work blends dark comedy with raw, emotional storytelling. A bit of a Swiss Army knife, Jaron writes, directs, shoots, edits, and acts - but sees filmmaking as a deeply collaborative process, inviting others to shape each story along the way.

His films explore themes of trauma, addiction, loss, and self-discovery, often through a lens that is as absurd as it is honest. His goal is always the same: to connect, to comfort, and to provoke - often all in the same breath.

In 2023, his team, Jartoman, was named international Grand Champion of the 48 Hour Film Project for his film, Threshold, which subsequently screened at the Festival de Cannes.
